The netball night was one of our more quiet nights, with only a few of us coming to play a very much altered version of the game. We played four on four, and the first half was interesting as everyone got a feel for some of the rules. By second half people were familiar enough to take some impressive intercepts and go for an occasional contact penalty. By the end of the game no one knew the score and was ready for a Macca’s stop. We also were visited by Michael; a new recruit to the crew that came to check out what rovers was about. Overall everyone went away with (hopefully) not too many injuries and a good night.
