September 24th 2009 - Deep Fry Night

The activity tonight was making deep fried ice cream. The activity started officially at 7pm, but the preparation in fact started many hours earlier. From 4:30pm many layers of coating were added to the balls of ice cream and it was frozen for many hours. At 7pm we met at then den briefly, then headed to McDonalds for dinner, then back to Emile's place to do the deep frying. When we arrived and set the oil to boil. Exactly one episode of scrubs later we began the deep frying. The Deep Fried ice cream turned out better then expected, and was enjoyed by all with a topping of caramel sauce.
